This fine reproduction of a Kim Rody original, dubbed "Low Tide", is proudly offered by Everything Nautical. This landscape is an aerial view of Hope Town on Elbow Cay in Abaco, Bahamas. See if you can find the candy striped lighthouse, Kim's boat is nearby in the harbor!
The giclees measure 5" H x 7" W for the mini, and 8" H x 10" W for the larger. The mini giclee is wrapped on canvas, with the image going around all sides. It comes with its own little easel, and a little hanger on the back for a second display option, all nicely packaged. They both include information about the subject on the back. The larger 8" x 10", also on canvas and equally stunning (not shown here), comes with a hanger only, no easel. Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery of the 8" x 10".
The giclee prints we offer are prints of the original artwork of Kim Rody, a very popular artist who resides in Florida for many months of the year. Kim has been a professional fine art painter since 2000. She gained a following in South Florida and the Bahama Islands by painting large, colorful and dramatic canvases of fish, turtles, palm trees, and all things tropical. Because of her popularity, she became known as the “fishartista”. Her work is appealing to clients looking for a dramatic, bright, and colorful feel which pulls the viewer in and under, into the world she loves best, and that few enjoy first-hand.
Here is what one customer of Kim's has to say: "You catch the Bahamian spirit so expertly. I have ordered 3 mini easel giclee's which are going to reside in my home in Freeport Grand Bahama!"
Giclee Prints - What is the next best thing to an original painting? A giclee print. Giclée printing is a modern day process that uses the latest technology in fade-resistant, archival inks and archival substrates. In other words, it is a very high quality, high resolution process that results in much better color and detail than the less expensive process of lithography.
