The light socket is made to accommodate a normal 60 watt light bulb, this particular style is just slimmer. You can find this style bulb at a local hardware store or Wal Mart.

If you would prefer to use a regular 60 watt light bulb you can do that, but you would need to take the chimney out. BL836MT.
